Our thanks to The V&A who are facilitating the visit of 120 children from schools within the CSC programme to their fabulous exhibition Alice Curiouser and Curiouser. This will be the V&A’s first school activity since lockdown and we are sure the children will have a wonderful experience: Link to exhibition
The National Gallery will be running arts and craft activity for families in Trafalgar Square during ChessFest, be sure to find their tent !
Our thanks to The Wallace Collection and their team of volunteers who will attend our school activities on Friday and bring some of their 15th century collection of armour for the children to try and on and become real chess knights !
The National Gallery, situated on Trafalgar Square houses one of the greatest collections of paintings in the world. These pictures belong to the public and entrance to see them is free.
The Wallace Collection is an internationally outstanding collection which contains unsurpassed masterpieces of paintings, sculpture, furniture, arms and armour and porcelain. Entry to the collection is free.
